Our faith is rooted in the Bible and centered on Jesus Christ. These are the core beliefs that shape our teaching, worship, and the way we live as a church family.
We want to discover and encounter Jesus, who loves us. We do that by having a relationship with Jesus Christ and by applying God’s Word to our lives.
We believe that our life is bigger than ourselves and it is our faith and love for God that compels us to love people.
That same faith and love for God compels us to also serve our city as the Holy Spirit leads.
Liberty Church is a Bible-believing Christian church. We are committed to teaching God’s Word, following Jesus Christ, and living by the power of the Holy Spirit. Our beliefs shape our worship, our ministry, and our desire to love God, love people, and love our city.
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the final authority for faith and practice.
We believe in one living and true God who eternally exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born of a virgin, sinless in life, crucified for our sins, raised from the dead, and coming again.
We believe the Holy Spirit convicts, empowers, guides, and equips believers for life and ministry.
We believe people are created in God’s image, but all have sinned and need God’s saving grace through Jesus Christ.
We believe salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone, not by human effort or works.
We believe the church is the body of Christ, called to worship, discipleship, fellowship, service, and witness.
We believe Jesus will return personally and visibly, bringing the fulfillment of God’s redemptive plan.
We believe our calling is to discover and encounter Jesus, love people, and serve our city as the Holy Spirit leads.
These beliefs are more than statements on a page. They are the foundation for how we worship, how we serve, and how we walk with Jesus together.
